Last updated: October 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BRIX (“BRIX”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.brix.so or use the BRIX application at app.brix.so (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account or sign in, including with “Sign in with Google”, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.
Business data you provide
Information you or your team enter into the Service, such as customers, leads, jobs, addresses, notes, pricing, and invoices.
Connected services
If you choose to connect a third-party service (for example, QuickBooks Online), we receive the access tokens and data that service shares with us under the permissions you approve.
Usage and device information
Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and error logs, used to operate and secure the Service. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect against fraud; we do not use advertising cookies.
2. Google user data
When you sign in with Google, BRIX requests only the basic scopes openid, email, and profile, which give us your name, email address, and profile picture.
- We use this data only to create your account, sign you in, and show your name and picture inside the Service.
- We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- We do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers listed below that are needed to run the Service, as required by law, or with your consent.
- Humans at BRIX do not read this data except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law.
BRIX’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove BRIX’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- To run the features you use, such as scheduling, maps, CRM, and accounting sync.
- To respond to support requests and send important service notices.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that host and run the Service for us: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and Google Maps Platform (address maps).
- Services you connect, such as Intuit QuickBooks, only when you choose to connect them.
- Members of your organization in BRIX, who can see shared business data.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers, if BRIX is involved in a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing eeharris2004@gmail.com. We will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal reasons. Disconnecting an integration deletes its stored tokens.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access tokens for connected services are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to people who need it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email eeharris2004@gmail.com.
8. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the Service.
